What we do

How do we fundraise?

The majority of our funds are raised through the events that we run. While raising money is very important, we really want the events to be fun and an opportunity for both the kids and parents to enjoy themselves!

You will be able to find details of all the events in the 'What's On' page and add them to your calendar! If you think you might have even the smallest availability to help at any of them, please let us know. If you haven't yet, join your class WhatsApp group as we regularly use this as a good source for information sharing.

As a registered charity there are also lots of ways in which companies and individuals can donate. Speak to your work and see if we might be eligible for any of their yearly charitable allowance. Donations can be made on our JustGiving Page. If you need more detailed information on the charity for your company, please email our Treasurer at kapcsatreasurer@gmail.com.

Donations are extremely important and don’t all have to be monetary. Time, items for sale, donations for raffles or offers of services and skills are also greatly appreciated.

How do we spend the money?

Excitingly, after the success of fundraising last year for the completion of the KS1 Playground, we are now starting afresh with our fundraising efforts. The top priority now is to help support the school with classroom equipment, activities and trips and we are always in contact with Ms Newton and department heads to understand what the school needs most and how to support them.

The PCSA funds are for the ‘extras’ not provided by the school budget that make our children’s learning experiences so much more fulfilling and exciting such as books, trips, new playground equipment, science shows etc.

What have we done?

Since the PCSA was set up in 2007, we have used a all the funds we have raised, thanks to your generosity and help, for a variety of goals. From school events like Family Rave, Fashion Show and Spring Showcase, through to buying books for the school library, class book corners and expensive sports and playground equipment. And most significantly the regeneration of all outside areas. We hope to be able to continue to support the school for many years to come.
