Auction of Promises 2017
On Saturday 11 November we will hold the 2017 Auction of Promises! It’s going to be a very special night with all proceeds from the event going towards our school playground.
Much of the evening’s success depends on the number of promises made. Can you help? Do you work for a company that can help? Promises can be almost anything!
On the night, doors will open at 7:45pm for a prompt 8pm start. A fully licenced bar will run throughout the evening. This event is for over 18s only.
Further information on any of the lots, or about how to bid will be available nearer the date. If you can’t come to the auction but still want to bid, there will be details of how to make an absentee bid – it’s easy!
Tickets are on sale now and cost £5 which includes pizza and a glass of fizz.
We look forward to seeing you there.
How does it work?
It’s very simple: one person makes a promise and somebody else buys it. The promises are all auctioned on 11 November and the money raised goes to the playground fund.
What kind of promises can you make?
Anything you like, if you think someone will bid for it! Here are a few examples…
I promise to bake a cheesecake
I promise a free haircut at my hairdressers
I promise a handmade necklace
I promise a box at the Royal Albert Hall
I promise a meal for 4 at the Cocoanut
I promise a personal training sessions
I promise to do one laundry bag of ironing
I promise to provide the food for your child’s birthday party
I promise to run a football themed birthday party
As you can see, making a promise is easy. Once you have decided what you’d like to promise, just fill in the form and post it in the PCSA letter box in the school office reception or email your promises to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What happens next?
A week prior to the evening, we will produce an Auction Catalogue listing all the promises made so that you can see what is on offer. Put Saturday 11 November in your diary and have fun!
Please fill in the form below if you wish to submit a promise – this can be posted in the PCSA letter box in the school office reception or emailed to Kingathelstanpcsa@gmail.com.
